3.Driving Abstract (a copy can be obtained from local drivers license facility for approx $12.00)
The Evaluation will cover your alcohol and drug history as well as the events surrounding your DUI arrest. The Evaluation will take approximately 1.5 hours. Once completed the Evaluation will have recommended one of 4 levels of care: Minimal, Moderate, Significant or High Risk.
You will then contact a Licensed Treatment Provider to arrange for an Intake Assessment and enrollment in Education and/or Group Treatment.
Once accepted into a education/treatment program you will be asked to attend group sessions that last from 2.5-3 hours in duration. During these sessions a professional substance abuse counselor will lead the groups. Group topics typically include discussion about: the effects of alcohol and drugs on driving performance, substance abuse, alcoholism, negative consequences surround substance use, problem acceptance, breaking through denial, changing negative behavior, relapse prevention, etc…..
